The Communist Party of India Marxist (CPM) led Left Democratic Front (LDF) has set all hopes on the incumbent Chief Minister and CPM leader Pinarayi Vijayan as their star campaigner. CM Pinarayi Vijayan had said that fake documents are being readied to cook up allegations against the Government and ‘lie bombs’ are to blast in the coming days. Vijayan moves a step ahead to fight the allegations that the Opposition is suspected to rake up against the LDF and its leaders during the last round of campaigns.

The United Democratic Front (UDF) led by Congress says the LDF can justify and defend any allegations in the name of the ‘lie bombs’ now. The UDF leaders are firm on their stand asking CM Vijayan to reveal whether he is the ‘lie bomb’. KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran has already stated that the CM has been referring to the ‘bomb’ which is to blast in his own party.

CPM leader M A Baby said that there are grave legal tangles in the matter of handing over personal data including pictures to a foreign country. Baby said that the private data of the individuals have been transferred to a foreign company without approval and permission.

Ramesh Chennithala had released some data claimed to be that of the 4.5 lakh bogus voter through a site named 'Operation Twins'. Chennithala claims that there is no issue of data privacy in the released data.
