Pune (Maharashtra): A temple for Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been constructed in Pune's Aundh locality by a man named Mayur Munde, who is associated with the 'Namo Foundation'. Touted to be the first Modi temple in India, Munde built the shrine in his own land. Also, a poem based on Modi’s achievements, has been placed in the premises of the temple. Speaking to ETV Bharat, Munde said that he built the temple having drawn inspiration from PM Modi’s work.

Mayur Munde who is associated with the 'Namo Foundation' has constructed a temple for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Pune's Aundh area. Munde reportedly built the temple on his own land.

"It is said, for as long as we live, we need to give something back to the society. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing a lot for India, it is really admirable. Hence, we wanted to build a temple for the Prime Minister," Munde said, adding that there is a similar feeling amongst people that such a temple should be built.
