New Delhi:After the BJP leaders demanded National Register of Citizens (NRC) to be implemented in several parts of Bihar, Secretary-General of Janta Dal-United (JDU) KC Tyagi denied for conducting any such survey in the state.
During a conversation with ETV Bharat, Tyagi said, "It is the right of every leader in the country to express their views and ideas on any particular topic. But, this right does not mean to motivate any topic for the sake of political benefit."
The leader further maintained that NRC only meant for the state of Assam, as the state has been witnessing a large number of illegal migrants from the neighbouring country of Bangladesh.
Bihar also shares borders with some of the rival countries, but, the state has not witnessed any problem of such illegal migrants from any of the neighbouring countries.
So, there is no need for such a survey to be implemented in the state.
