New Delhi:The Grand Alliance, also called Mahagathbandhan in Bihar appears to be directionless because of the lack of unanimity among allies over its chief ministerial candidate for the next assembly elections. There are four strong contenders for the post of the chief minister in the Mahagathbandhan in case it comes to power in 2020.
Bihar: Upendra Kushwaha can be CM face says, RLSP ` The Rashtriya Lok Samata Party general secretary (RLSP) Madhav Anand suggested that former member of Parliament Upendra Kushwaha can be a good option for Chief Minister candidate for the upcoming assembly elections.
During a conversation with ETV Bharat, Anand said, "Upendra Kushwaha is a veteran leader. He has a vast political experience and a well known public figure. He also has experience of working with the present CM Nitish Kumar."
The general secretary also suggested Rashtriya Janta Dal leader, Tejaswi Yadav be considered for the CM candidate. He further maintained that Yadav has also good command over state politics. The young opposition leader has also an ample fan following among youth of the state, added Anand.
