Mumbai:Maharashtra, the second largest constituency in India, has a total of 48 Lok Sabha seats in total. The state is likely to witness a direct fight between India’s ruling party - BJP and the opposition alliances in almost every constituency.
In the 2014 General Elections, Maharashtra contributed the second highest number of MPs to the Lok Sabha, it gave 42 of its total 48 seats to the NDA.
