16 men sexually assault class XI boy in Kerala, 7 arrested

A class XI boy based in Kadampuzha here has alleged that he was sexually assaulted multiple times at nearby places. Seven people have been arrested till now. The victim has revealed the assault to childline counselling following which the arrests were made. More arrests are expected.

Malappuram (Kerala): Four cases have been registered at Kadampuzha and Kalpakanchery police stations against different men who allegedly sexually assaulted a class XI boy based in Kadampuzha here.

Similar cases were also registered at Valanchery station.

The arrested men were identified as Abdul Samad from Kurukkol, Sivadasan who runs an autorickshaw workshop in Kallingal, Sameer from Randathani, Kadampuzha Kallarmangalam Mohammed Koya, Karinkarai Moyateenkutty, Liyakkath and Pulikal Jaleel.

Sivadasan molested the boy at his workshop and at his residence.

The victim has revealed to the childline counselling that sixteen men have allegedly sexually assaulted him multiple times at nearby places in Kadampuzha.

Seven people have been arrested till now.

Reportedly, more arrests are expected after further investigation.

The arrested accused were produced before the court.
