Karimnagar (Telangana): The Karimnagar Police successfully raided a cricket betting gang on Saturday.
The gang contains 13 members, in which betting for IPL cricket match is going on since last month.
Ramagundam Police Commissioner V. Satyanarayana said police raided some places, following a tip that a gang was running an IPL cricket betting racket.
Karimnagar police raided IPL betting gang "The police also seized an amount of Rs 1.08 lakh with 20 mobile phones and two laptops. Also, 11 people were arrested and the other two were absconded from the site", added Commissioner.
In India, IPL tournament is played every year from last week of March to the second week of May. The Indian Premier League (IPL) final will be held on May 12 at Chidambaram stadium, Chennai.
