Covid patient dies after not getting a bed and ventilator

A resident of Kalaburagi district passed away as he couldn't get a bed and ventilator in any of the hospitals. The family members had wandered in search of beds and ventilator for over four hours, but by then the patient passed away.

Kalaburagi (Karnataka): A corona patient died in a car after not getting a bed and ventilator. Sadly, the family members had wandered for over four hours in search of a bed and ventilator in private and government hospitals.

Sankara (50), a resident of Kalaburagi district, passed away in the premises of Sathya hospital in Kalaburagi, as the family members despite having wandered around for hours could not get a bed and ventilator.

Sadly, Shankara was critical and not in a position to breathe by then.

This is the second death in Kalaburagi where a patient passed away due to lack of medical treatment. His family members have expressed outrage over the administration for the lack of medical facilities.
