Fear of being stolen again police handcuffs recovered autorickshaw

An autorickshaw was seen handcuffed outside a police station by Indore GRP. In a fear of being stolen again, the police tied the autorickshaw with an handcuff.

Indore: In a bizarre incident, an autorickshaw was seen handcuffed outside a police station by Indore GRP on Wednesday.

So far we have seen that mostly its accused person who is handcuffed by the police, but here the case is different.

"The autorickshaw was stolen few days ago, which was later recovered from the city's Siyaganj area," the GRP said.

However, GRP feared that auto could be stolen from outside the police station. Hence, after the accused was arrested, police tied the autorickshaw with an handcuff.

According to the local police, Imtiaz, the accused autorickshaw theif was produced in the court and sent to the jail on Tuesday. The auto owner cannot be given the vehicle till court gives its nod for the same.

The auto was tied with handcuff in order to keep it safe inside the police station.

Interestingly, the handcuffed auto has became a one of the most happening and discussed topics among locals.
