Hyderabad:BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Thursday (15 July) flew the standing committee of Parliament on Tourism and Civil Aviation, thereby marking a memorable event in Indian history. Manoj Tiwari, the Member of Parliament Delhi (North-East) and Former Delhi President of Bharatiya Janata Party took to the microblogging site and shared a video highlighting the historic flight and tweeted,"5 July 21, What happened today will be remembered.. Today our Parliamentary Committee reached Kochi in Kerala from Mahabalipuram. An important meeting was held with the key officials of all the ports and airports of Kerala. Dedicated to development, development and development, the MPs led by PM Narendra Govt can do a lot through this committee."
A senior Member of Parliament and former Union Minister Rudy who captained the flight is heard saying, "It's wonderful to see cheers on everyone's faces. Today's flight, in Indian history is a remarkable one. Also for all those passengers who are not a part of the Parliamentary Committee, this is going to be a very special and a unique flight. Special because, all of you are there and unique because in the history of Indian Parliament, possibly, it is going to happen for the first time that a Member of Parliament is going to fly the Standing Committee of Parliament on Tourism and Civil Aviation. That never happened and you all are a part of it.
