Woman stabbed in Delhi's Rohini area

Police are on the lookout for a man in Delhi who stabbed a woman - his neighbour - before fleeing the area. There is no word yet on the motive for the attack, police said.

New Delhi: A woman was stabbed multiple times in Delhi by her neighbour as the attack was captured on a CCTV camera, reports said.

The incident took place in Rohini area and the attacker was identified as Naresh.

According to reports, Naresh called the victim outside before stabbing her and fleeing the scene.

The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, however, as her condition worsened she was referred to the Safdarjung Hospital.

A police complaint has been filed, and a manhunt is on to nab the attacker. Police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the attack.
