New Delhi:Vishva Hindu Parishad's national spokesperson Vinod Bansal on Tuesday slammed the Kerala government for its politics of Muslim vote bank appeasement, instead of stopping illegal slaughter of cattle. The Supreme Court having taken cognizance of the issue had slammed the Kerala government for having announced three days lockdown relaxation in the wake of Bakrid celebrations. The top court observed that the order was alarming and presented a regretful state of affairs. He should stop illegal slaughter of cattle, instead of trying to please his vote bank, Bansal further added.
At present, Kerala has the highest rate of corona infection in the country, with the government figures showing a positivity rate of 11% and the number of active cases at more than 13,000.
