Fire breaks out at nursing home in West Delhi

A fire broke out at a nursing home in Vikaspuri, Delhi on Tuesday night. At the time of the incident, there were 26 patients undergoing treatment.

New Delhi: A fire broke out on Tuesday at a nursing home in West Delhi's Vikaspuri where COVID patients are admitted, officials said.

According to fire officials, a call regarding the blaze at the 'UK Nursing Home- A Multi Speciality Hospital & Stone Centre' in Vikaspuri was received around 11 pm.

All the patients who were being treated were safely evacuated and no casualties were reported in the mishap.

Among the 26 patients who were hospitalized, 17 patients are Covid positive.
