New Delhi: BJP MP and Rajya Sabha Chief Whip Shiv Pratap Shukla has accused the Congress of stalling the proceedings of the House, adding that it only wants to create a ruckus. The government is willing to give a reply to all the questions, but the Congress does not want to be involved in it, he told ETV Bharat's senior correspondent Anamika Ratna, during an interaction.
"The government is ready to answer on all issues, even those related to matters like Corona, however, the Congress isn't participating in the discussion even after giving notice. The work of the government is going on in the house and bills are being passed every day," Shukla said.

On being questioned, whether it is against the parliamentary tradition to pass the bill in the house without the opposition, the BJP MP said, "The Congress along with some opposition parties do not want answers but only want to create ruckus, despite being well read, they are ridiculing parliamentary dignity, hence in such a situation it is necessary to pass a bill related to the public and there is no violation of dignity in it, but the opposition should be involved in the functioning of the government."
Speaking about the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections, Shiv Pratap Shukla has expressed confidence in his party saying that there will not be any difference in 2022, as once again the government will be formed in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath and that people would stand with the BJP.
