New Delhi: It's just two days since Jitin Prasada switched sides to the BJP, and now a political turmoil is catching pace in Rajasthan Congress. On Friday, former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Congress leader Sachin Pilot reached Delhi. The infighting within the Congress unit of Rajasthan has once again come to the fore, almost after one year. The Pilot camp is complaining that even after being given an assurance last year, the party high command has still not addressed their grievances. According to the sources, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is reaching out to Pilot in an aim to bridge the gap so that the party does not face another setback.
Pilot is likely to stay in the national capital till Sunday. While Pilot said on record that he has no plans to meet either Priyanka Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi, Rajasthan Congress in-charge Ajay Maken, when asked, did not deny it. Recently, BJP leader Rita Bahuguna had stoked a controversy having said that Pilot is unhappy with the functioning of the Congress, adding that he spoke to her about joining the saffron party. However, when asked about her claim, Pilot replied, "She might have spoken to Sachin Tendulkar. She does not have the courage to speak to me."
