Bengaluru (Karnataka): Police have registered a case against a man on charges of torture and for allegedly having forced his wife to have sex with his friends. The man Waseem Sharif a resident of Bengaluru's BTM Layout had married a Banashankari based woman in January 2018. According to the victim, her husband had been allegedly torturing her post-marriage and during a trip to Goa, he had forced her to consume alcohol. However, when she refused to comply he allegedly assaulted her and returned back to Bengaluru.

Narrating the ordeal she had faced, the woman alleged that Waseem Sharif always hosted parties for his friends and that she was ordered to supply drinks and forced to have sex with them. The victim was even forced to undergo an abortion two times, but the third time she did not undergo an abortion and had given birth to a baby girl. Now, Waseem Sharif allegedly kicked his wife out of the house saying that the baby has a blue eye. Unable to bear her husband's torture, the woman filed a complaint against him at the women's police station. Based on the complaint, the police have filed FIR against Waseem Sharif and his four friends.
