Bengaluru: Hacker accesses woman's mobile, makes vile demands

A hacker gained access into a woman's mobile and began sending obscene messages to her contacts, further demanding her to send nude pictures for a payment offered by them. The Bengaluru-based woman lodged a complaint with a police station and investigation is on.

Bengaluru (Karnataka):A 36-year-old homemaker fell prey to a hacker, who not only gained access to her smartphone but also began sending obscene messages, alongside other vile demands.

According to sources, the woman, hailing from Basavangudi area of Bengaluru, created a WhatsApp group with her friends. No sooner did she create the group, the woman received an anonymous call requesting her to click on a link, allegedly sent by the hacker.

This particular act gave the hacker access to all her contacts, who in turn began sending porn and other obscene messages to everyone in the WhatsApp group, under the name of the woman.

Alarmed by the development, the woman called the number, reportedly left by the hackers, only to find the latter demanding obscene photos from the woman for a payment. They demanded the woman to send her nude photos and assured monetary benefit.

Unable to bear the torture, the homemaker lodged a complaint with the police, who registered a case against the hacker/s. A case has been registered and an investigation is on.
