Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh):In a humanitarian gesture, Noida police helped a man to reach his hometown where his wife was grappling from severe labour pain on Friday.
According to Tamanna Khan, hailing from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, she posted a video on the social media platform tagging a media firm, ADCP Noida Ranvijay Singh asking the police to help her husband in reaching home.
"Hi, my name is Tamanna Khan, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly. I am suffering from severe labour pain and no one is there to help me out. My hubby got stuck in Noida due to nationwide-lockdown. I request Noida police to help my husband", said Khan in a video.
Reacting on the video, ADCP Ranvijay Singh contacted her husband and helped the man in reaching his hometown.
The woman grappling with labour pain delivered a baby boy on Friday at a hospital near here.
"I have not seen God but, today, I have seen God helping me in Khakhee (Dress colour of Indian Police). If they were not helped my husband, I might have lost my life. I would like to thank Hindustan Times, ADCP Noida Police," said Khan in a video after delivering a male child.
