New Delhi: Forbes magazine has released the list of hundred most powerful women in the world. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is ranked 34th. Three women from India have managed to make a place in this list.
HCL Corporation CEO Roshni Nadar Malhotra stood at 54th position and Biocon head Kiran Mazumdar Shaw at 65th. At the same time, German Chancellor Angela Merkel remains at the top spot.
Angela Merkel again number one
Angela Merkel stood at the first position for the sixth consecutive year. Forbes has been releasing the list of 100 powerful women of the world since 2004. Since then, Angela Merkel has been the most powerful woman 11 times in 12 years.
