Maruti, Hyundai, Honda offer discounts to push sales. Find out the details

To beat slowdown and cash in on the festive mood, major automobile companies are offering discounts up to Rs 1.6 lakh and other attractive offers on all the major models.

Hyderabad: Sales of automobiles have plummeted ever since the lockdowns were in place to control the spread of novel coronavirus.

To counter the declining trend and also give push to the purchase sentiment that exists during festivals, major automobile companies have announced attractive offers.

Maruti Suzuki

India's largest car maker is offering lucrative discounts on a varied range. Its Alto 800 and S-Presso is available at a discount of Rs 39,000 and Rs 49,000 respectively. Earlier the company also launched a loyalty rewards program for its customers under which they can avail a range of benefits on purchase of an additional car, insurance, accessories, etc.

Hyundai

The South Korean automaker Hyundai is offering a discount of Rs 40,000 on its entry level Grand i10. While Grand i10 Nios is available at a discount of Rs 25,000, Santro comes with a discount of Rs 35,000. Hyundai also launched a membership programme for its new car buyers across the country. As part of the initiative, the company has tied up with 21 brands across lifestyle, travel, education, car accessories, among others to offer various benefits to its new car buyers.

Honda

Honda is offering a whopping discount of Rs 2.5 lakh in its Civic(Diesel) model. The Japanese automaker has announced that its Honda Amaze is available at a discount of Rs 27,000. Also, the popular Honda City is available at a discount of Rs 1.6 lakh.
