Young mountaineer hoisted Indian national flag on Mount Gauri Chen peak

Rajveer Singh Naruka climbed Mount Gauri Chen peak located in Arunachal Pradesh and hoisted the national flag. Singh did a mountaineering course, and once he knew he was ready to climb, he didn’t waste any time and promptly set out on his expedition.

Nagaur (Rajasthan): A young mountaineer, Rajveer Singh Naruka, has hoisted the Indian national flag on Mount Gauri Chen peak located in Arunachal Pradesh.

The mountaineer reached his village on Thursday.

Talking to the media, Rajveer said that he would approach any government or non-governmental organisation as soon as possible so that he could climb to Mount Everest, the world's highest peak and glorify the name of the entire nation.

Rajveer was born in Singrapatta village near Deedwana. He became a German-language guide in Delhi after completing his education.

Over a dozen foreign tourists expressed their desire to climb Mount Guru. Seeing the tourist's enthusiasm, Rajveer also got inspired to measure the high peaks.

Later, he did a mountaineering course from National Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (NIMAS).

During the course, he prepared himself physically and mentally to deal with all kinds of issues while mountaineering.

After the course was finished, he was felicitated by the Ministry of Defence.

Rajveer said that he first climbed the Pir Panjal hill in Himachal which is 17, 500 feet and also succeeded in climbing Mount Gauri Chen in Arunachal Pradesh's which is 19,000 feet.

During Mount Gauri Chen mountaineering, he had to face many kinds of problems like heavy snowfalls, but he did not give up.
