Two bike-borne men snatch woman’s gold chain in Bengaluru

Two bike-borne men snatched a gold chain from an elderly woman near Rangoli showroom in Bengaluru's Jayanagar area. A case has been registered regarding the incident at the Jayanagar police station.

Bengaluru (Karnataka):In a bold daylight theft, two bike-borne men on a bike snatched a gold chain from an elderly woman on Wednesday near Rangoli showroom in Bengaluru's Jayanagar area.

It has been alleged that 63-year-old, Sandhya was returning home from the temple when two chain snatchers came on a bike and snatched the gold chain from her neck. The entire incident has been captured on a CCTV camera installed in the area.

The woman lodged a complaint at the Jayanagar police station.

"A case has been filed in Jayanagar police station regarding the incident and the further investigation is underway," said city police officer Alok Kumar.
