Jaipur: State Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance of the case where a patient was allegedly assaulted by a doctor in Rajasthan's Sawai Man Singh Medical College and Hospital.
The commission has instructed the hospital authority to submit a report regarding the matter by June 25.
A doctor is seen assaulting a person on the hospital bed, in a viral video on social media. The said person is said to be a patient in the hospital. The entire incident was not recorded in the video.
Justice Prakash Tatia, President of the State Human Rights Commission has asked the hospital authorities that whether any administrative action or investigation was done by the Department of Medical Research or any report was lodged in police with regard to this incident.
