Hassan (Karnataka): While a huge chunk of the country's agricultural populace reels under the threat of impending drought, a farmer from Karnataka took matters in his own hands to turn his piece of barren land into a high-yielding one.
Meet Prasanna, who is setting some serious farming goals. From converting his barren agricultural land in Halebidu into a fertile one, to growing all types of crops using only natural fertilizers, he has done it all to revolutionise the farming culture in the area and increase profits.
The farming revolutionary installed a drip irrigation system and is harvesting rainwater for irrigating the fields.
Speaking to the media, Prasanna said that as he was never interested in studies. He discontinued his education after completing his intermediate studies, and joined his brother in agriculture.
