Posters in favour of Akash Vijayvargiya removed by Municipal officials

BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya's posters were put on in his support in Indore on Thursday which was later on removed by the Municipal Corporation of Indore. BJP leaders are tight-lipped on this incident.

New Delhi:Two days after BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya, the son of senior party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya, was arrested for attacking a Municipal Corporation Officer in Indore, posters have appeared in parts of the city which read: "Salute Akash ji".

Later on, the posters were removed by the Indore Municipal Corporation. It is being said that the preparations were on to welcome him after his bail.

The BJP leaders are tight-lipped on this incident and Akash's father Kailash Vijayvargiya also refused to comment on this incident.

Akash Vijayvargiya has been sent to judicial custody till July 7.

An FIR was lodged against Vijayvargiya and 10 others while a local court rejected his bail plea and sent him in judicial custody for two weeks.

The case has been transferred to Bhopal's special court.
