Husband sends divorce notice from US, ends 25-year marriage

All hell broke loose on a woman from Budaun city of Uttar Pradesh when she recently received a divorce notice from her husband who fled to America on 13th March this year. The couple was married for 25 years and has two daughters.

Budaun: Nasreen Fatima, a resident of Delhi's Yamuna Vihar, received a divorce notice from her husband who is currently residing in the USA. The in-laws of the woman stay in Budaun city of Uttar Pradesh.

The victim reached the SSP office of the Budaun city to file a complaint but he refused to file the complaint saying the case is not in his jurisdiction.

The couple was married for 25 years and has two daughters.

The victim has alleged that her husband has married some other woman too with whom he fled to America. She alleged that her husband also took their elder daughter with him.

According to Nasreen, her husband used to harass her.

He fled to America on 13th March this year and now sent a divorce notice from there.
