MIUI 12 has started to roll out in many Xiaomi phones

Ensuring the safety of data along with other features, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi announced its latest version of in-house Android-based skin, MIUI 12 in India. Highlights of MIUI 12 are; Refreshed UI, Intuitive visuals, Super Wallpapers, Built-in App Drawer, New Camera UI, Improved Productivity Features. MIUI 12 is available on many phones such as Mi 9, POCO F1, Redmi Note 7S, Mi 8 Lite, and more.

New Delhi: As per a tweet by MIUI India, the MIUI 12 will add smooth animations with improved details to the icons, the new calendar features, AI calling, new privacy and security tools, multi-tasking features, animations, and wallpapers.

"MIUI has gone through numerous crucial updates. India-specific features such as Panchang, Copy OTP, Smart IRCTC SMS, MIUI SMS Caller ID etc have been greatly appreciated by our Mi Fans. Features like these make MIUI stand out from the other flavours of Android," Muralikrishnan B, Chief Operating Officer, Xiaomi India, said in a statement.
