K'taka: Leopard killed by villagers in front of forest officials

A leopard was killed by Karnataka mob in the presence of forest officials on Wednesday. Earlier in the morning, the leopard seriously injured three residents of Kurubarahalli village.

Chitradurga: A leopard was attacked and beaten to death after it killed three villagers in Kurubarahalli village, Chitradurga on Wednesday.

In the morning, the leopard seriously injured Deviramma, Anil and Kumar, residents of Kurubarahalli village which created anxiety among the villagers.

The victims were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital.

Chitradurga forest officers attempted to rescue the leopard which had wandered off in the village but their attempt failed as angry villagers didn't let them near the animal and killed it within seconds with canes and sticks.
