New Delhi: Blaming the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for the incidents of 'political violence' in the state, Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) In charge for West Bengal Kailash Vijayvargiya remarked that the state has descended into 'Kashmir-like situation'.
Kailash Vijayvargiya in conversation with ETV Bharat. Speaking to ETV Bharat, Vijayvargiya alleged that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee were responsible for the chaos, as they have been goading their party workers against the BJP.
"She (Mamata Banerjee) is misusing her powers and promoting anarchy," said Vijayvargiya, further asserting that the state had descended into 'Kashmir-like situation' at present.
When asked about the implementation of the President's rule, Kailash said, "I am not in favour of President's rule right now. But, if law and order are not maintained, then the central government will soon take a big decision."
