New Delhi:Withstanding the extreme cold, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) performed Yoga in the most difficult terrain of the country on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
At 18,000 ft in Northern Ladakh, the soldiers carried out yoga with the temperature of minus 20 degrees Celsius.
The ITBP troops of Animal Training School (ATS) Lohitpur, performed yoga in the early hours of the day before the break of dawn at the easternmost tip of Arunachal Pradesh where the sun rises first.
At an altitude of 19,000 ft near OP Dorjila in Sikkim, the personnel did yoga at minus 15 degrees Celsius.
