Lauding PM Modi's work, he said, "He has got the right vision."

Taking a dig at former Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu, the industrialist-turned-politician said, "My then leader Chandrababu Naidu made some wrong calculations."

He further added that he tried to make his point to his leader back then, however, his point was not taken under consideration.

Chowdary also mentioned that the details were mentioned in his resignation letter to his former party chief.

Claiming that the resignation was made at the behest of the state, the Rajya Sabha MP said, "We thought that this is the only alternative to work for saving the state of Andhra Pradesh and to implement the Reorganisation Act."

Chowdary said that he seeks to work with the Centre and the state government to ensure that all the points and commitments given to the people of Andhra Pradesh are fulfilled.
