Son killed after he is hit by a bat flung by his father against his mother

A fight between the parents leads to the death of their son in Kasibugga of Srikakulam on Friday night. The husband, Vinod threw a cricket bat at his wife, Geetha which accidentally hit their son who was asleep.

Srikakulam:The conflict between a husband and a wife claimed the life of their son on Friday night in Kasibugga of Srikakulam district.

According to reports, Vinod had a fight with his brother and he picked up the cricket bat to hit his brother. However, he fled from the spot and this lead to a brawl between Vinod and his wife Geetha.

Irked with his husband's behaviour, Geetha yelled at his husband. In a fit of rage, Vinod threw the cricket bat in his hand at Geetha which hit their son Dinesh who was in deep sleep.

Dinesh at once cried out in pain and immediately collapsed.

Later, they rushed him to the Palani Government Hospital when doctors declared him brought dead.

SI Ramesh Babu registered the case and investigation is underway.
