Two senior members of DMK passes away

Two of the senior members of the DMK party passed away on Friday. Radhamani, MLA of Vikravandi constituency died at JIPMER and former Rajya Sabha member of DMK party, S Sivasubramanian also died. DMK President MK Stalin recalled their contribution to the party.

Chennai (Tamil Nadu): DMK party said that two of its senior leaders including a sitting legislator passed away on Friday.

Vikravandi constituency MLA, K Radhamani(70) was not well for quite some period and died at Jipmer hospital in Puducherry.

Former Rajya Sabha member of DMK party, S Sivasubramanian also died on Friday who was ailing for some time.

DMK party President MK Stalin expressing his shock and grief over the death of his party members extended his sympathies to the deceased families.

Stalin condoled the death of his colleagues and recalled their contributions to the growth of the party.

Radhamani represented Vikravandi constituency in Villupuram district, had risen through the party ranks. The strength of DMK in the 234 member Assemble of Tamil Nadu came down by one to 100.

Stalin recalled of Subramanian, who had been an active member of DMK since 1971 and he had been elected as MLA in 1989. He served as Rajya Sabha MP from 1998 to 2004.
