Caught on Cam: Girl molested, attacked on road

A girl in Haryana's Faridabad was molested and attacked by a miscreant, who still remains unidentified, on Wednesday night. An FIR has been registered and on the basis of the evidence, the accused is being identified.

Faridabad: A first-year Bachelor of Management Studies' (BMS) student was molested and attacked by a youth on the road when she was returning home on Wednesday night in Haryana's Faridabad.

The incident was caught on CCTV camera, where the girl can be seen being assaulted from behind by a miscreant, who still remains unidentified.

According to the victim, the miscreant first molested her, which she had opposed. Later, the person returned with a knife and attacked her from behind.

The girl suffered injuries on her left arm and midriff and was admitted in a government hospital.

An FIR has been registered and on the basis of the CCTV footage, the accused is being identified.
