Bengaluru: The Yediyurappa-led government in Karnataka unveiled its Bengaluru Mission 2022 to turn Bengaluru into a world class city. In its mission, the government laid a road map to provide necessary infrastructure facilities to the silicon city and to make Bengaluru cleaner, greener and a better-connected place. The government has also assured to implement the project within two years.
The state BJP government has identified four sectors which are smooth traffic, hygiene, greenery and strengthening of public relations to solve the grievances of the people.
The Bangalore Mission -2022 is a visionary document which will provide an inclusive developmental program for Bangalore. Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has announced that this is an important step towards making Bangalore city a dream of becoming a world-class city.
With an intention to provide the best infrastructure facilities to Bangalore city, the government claimed that a clean and beautiful environment is the priority of the government. With Bengaluru being the fastest growing city, the state government aims to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the city to introduce the same to the next generation. The announcements are being seen as a part of BJP’s outreach to the Bengaluru city voters ahead of the local civic body polls which are scheduled to be held shortly.
