New Delhi:The third dayof Kisan Sansad takes a different turn with women protestors taking charge and running the proceedings entirely on Monday. Farmer leaders Suhasini Ali and Suman Hoodaare performing the role of Speaker andDeputy Speaker respectively. Questions related to the three contentious farm laws are being raised and discussed.
While heading towards Jantar Mantar, women protestors told media that they will run an all-women independent 'Kisan Sansad'."For the first time, women will independently run the parliament ('Kisan Sansad')," said one of them.
The MPs passed black laws related to agriculture, education, and labour laws. Women, youth, students, labour, and farmers have critiqued the Parliament on the recent laws, said one of the protestors. "Our blood and sweat is not for you to waste but it is for the development of the nation, we will not bear these laws and will continue to raise questions on the Parliament," she added.
