Lawaypora: Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday said that they have cracked the Lawaypora attack case which claimed the lives of two jawans in a terrorist attack on a CRPF vehicle.
Inspector-General of Police Vijay Kumar said, "Police have solved the case. Two overground workers have been arrested, one car seized, in connection with yesterday's Lawaypora terror attack."

Kumar also confirmed that the militants decamped with an AK-47 rifle and said that the Budgam police is relentlessly working to curb the crime rate in Kashmir.
"Nadeem Abrar Bhatt, who is a member of LeT, was involved in the terror attack which killed two jawans. Two workers Muzaffar Ahmed Mir and Javaid Ahmed Sheikh did the recce of the area on March 24. Nadeem is a close relative of Mir. Mir and Sheikh helped Nadeem Bhatt and two foreign militants in carrying out the operation," Kumar said.
