Her body will be handed over to her family on Monday. Alleged boyfriend Sheezan Khan has been sent to 4 days police custody at the Waliv Police Station.

1. The Mumbai Police on Sunday said that the post-mortem reports of the deceased Tunisha Sharma have specified 'hanging' as the cause of death. "The post-mortem report clearly specifies the cause of death of Tunisha as hanging," Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Chandrakant Jadhav said during a press conference here. He also said the post-mortem ruled out pregnancy.
2. Tunisha's mother had filed a complaint against actor Sheezan Khan under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code at the Waliv police station, alleging Abetment of Suicide. He was arrested early on Sunday and was produced in the Vasai court immediately. The court sent him to 4-day police custody.
3. At the court, Sheezan's lawyer, Sharad Rai, denied the allegations leveled against Khan. "Whatever has happened, police and court are working. He (Sheezan Khan) has been produced in court. Allegations against him are baseless," Rai told a group of reporters on Sunday.
4. The officials said that the deceased and her 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul' co-star Sheezan Khan were dating each other, and had a break up a fortnight ago, after which Tunisha took the extreme step on the sets of her show on Saturday.
5. The police have meanwhile rejected any possibility of a 'Love Jihad' angle in the case. "As of now, the investigation is underway. Accused Sheezan's and the deceased's phones have been seized. There is no angle of any other affair, blackmailing or 'Love Jihad' as of now," the ACP said.
6. 20-year-old Tunisha Sharma was found dead in her washroom on the sets of her TV show on Saturday. The actress went to the toilet and did not come back for a long time raising suspicions. According to Waliv Police, they received information about the matter around Saturday evening. They reached the spot and broke down the door of the washroom to find the actress dead there. No suicide note was recovered from the spot by police.
7. Tunisha's mortal remains were brought to the JJ Hospital, Naigaon at around 1:30 am on Sunday where her post-mortem was conducted. "The autopsy was conducted till 4:30 am and four to five police personnel were also present," officials said, adding that the dead body has been kept in cold storage and will be handed over to her family on Monday. Police have said they will investigate the death from both the murder and suicide angles.
8. President of All India Cine Workers Association, Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, has demanded from the government that SIT should be constituted in this matter. "Government should pay attention to this matter and investigate it by forming an SIT, many things will come out," Gupta said.
