Nellore (AP):A couple was brutally murdered in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. The police believe that the thugs broke into the house between 11 and 12 midnight on Saturday, beat them with a stick, and then stabbed them to death with a knife.
During the investigation, the police found the weapons used for the murder while the forensic team reached the spot to collect evidence. The police also suspect that the killers broke into the house to kill the couple and faked it as a robbery as the jewelry and cash in the house were recovered by the police.
City in-charge DSP Abdul Subahan and Inspector Narasimha Rao reached the spot and said, "The deceased identified as Vasireddy Krishnarao (54) and Sunitha (50) who reside in Padarupalli Ashoknagar in the city. Krishna Rao runs a hotel in the city center of Nellore. Every night after closing the hotel.. they reach home late. It is suspected that the miscreants broke into the house between 11 and 12 o'clock on Saturday and beat Sunita to death with a stick. Krishna Rao, who had just come home, was stabbed to death with a knife."
"The milkman, on Sunday morning discovered the dead bodies and informed the police and the locals. The youngest son of the deceased, Gopichand said that they had no enemies and did not know why his parents were killed so brutally." The police are probing the incident from various angles.
