Solapur (Maharashtra):A young fan of actor Sonu Sood from Telangana has taken out a journey on foot from Hyderabad to Mumbai with the hope of meeting Sood and seeking a favour from him.
The boy named Venkatesh from Dornalpalli in the Vikarabad district of Telangana had covered 400 kilometers in the last eight days starting the journey from Hyderabad and reached Solapur on Tuesday. He started his journey on June 1 and is determined to complete the journey in the next eight days.
Telangana boy walking to Mumbai to meet actor Sonu Sood What is driving Venkatesh to take out such an arduous journey is the hope that Sood will help him to get back his father's auto-rickshaw which was seized by the finance company after they couldn't pay the monthly EMIs. The auto-rickshaw is the only source of livelihood for the family. After the local people at Solapur learnt about his expedition, they threw him a hearty welcome.
Venkatesh walks as much as he can during the day and stays in local temple inns during the night. The boy said that Sood is like to God for many people in need. "He provides a lot of help to many people in need. I want to see him once and take a selfie. I have decided to walk till Mumbai", he said. Local people are helpful during the journey and they offer him fruits and food, he said.
