New Delhi: The Sufi Islamic Board on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) over rising terrorism in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The board has alleged that the Taliban militants have occupied Afghanistan with the help of Pakistan and are torturing people there especially women, which is wrong.
Sufi Islamic Board submits memorandum to UNHCR against terrorism
The Sufi Islamic Board on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) over rising terrorism in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The Board has demanded the UNHCR to raise the situation of Afghanistan and the activities of Pakistan at international platforms. After submitting the memorandum people also raised slogans against Pakistan near the agency. The board members also submitted a memorandum in the Pakistan Embassy demanding Pakistan to stop funding terrorist activities in India and other countries.
The Board said that some countries are backing terrorist groups and the entire world is suffering from it.
