New Delhi: The Supreme Court today extended its order of maintaining the status quo on the supply of water to Delhi by Haryana and Punjab. The court said that it doesn't have the time to hear the case today and listed the matter for hearing on Tuesday after courts reopen after Holi vacation.
The bench led by the Chief Justice of India, SA Bobde, and comprising of Justice AS Bopanna and Justice V Ramasubramnian were hearing a petition by the Delhi Jal Board against the state of Haryana for cutting levels of water and polluting the Yamuna river.
