Ghaziabad: Security has been beefed up at the Ghazipur border between New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh ahead of the Tiranga Yatra of farmers. The farmers have announced to hoist the tricolour at the Ghazipur border on the occasion of Independence Day. Tiranga Yatra of Kailash Yatra will commence 10 days before August 15, when farmers will start reaching the border from different parts of the nation on tractors.
Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait has announced that he will be disclosing a big scam in the purchase of MSP on Thursday. Security agencies have also issued an alert as a huge crowd of farmers will be present on the Ghazipur border. Security has also been tightened in all public places in the area.

Earlier on June 27, security agencies have alerted of possible terror activities under the guise of farmers' movement following which strict security arrangements were made on the Ghazipur border. According to the police, a drone camera will help in monitoring and surveillance of the area on Thursday.
"Not only the Ghazipur border but the security of Anand Vihar, Nand Nagri and Loni border has also been increased," police added.
