New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) informed the Supreme Court that police were bribed with Rs 2 lakh in the Yogeshgouda Goudar murder case and the witnesses were taken to a hotel and tutored by the advocates. CBI said that ex-minister and Congress leader Vinay Kulkarni has taken part in every step.
The bench comprising of Justice UU Lalit and Justice Ajay Rastogi was hearing Congress leader and former Karnataka minister Vinay Kulkarni's bail petition in the murder case of BJP worker Yogeshgouda Goudar. Goudar was killed on June 15, 2016, after he defeated congress rival in Zilla panchayat.
