Washington DC: Indian Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu interacted with members of the business community on the current state of the Covid-19 epidemic in India. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted a digital meeting on Thursday. During the conversation, Sandhu told the business community about the materials that India needs urgently. These include oxygen concentrators, cylinders, ventilators, oxygen production plants and drugs such as Remdesivir and Tocilizumab.

Sandhu tweeted that we appreciate the US Chamber for the prompt response and resource mobilization of the American business community to assist India in tackling the Covid challenge. In the last few days, the US Chamber of Commerce has mobilized support for the supply of medical supplies to India; united partners of other industry bodies; and coordinated with the US government.
