Bhopal: A cartoon issued by the Madhya Kshetra Electricity Company to discourage power theft in the state has now come under controversy with state Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang expressing his displeasure to the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Distribution Company.
Sarang tweeted that Lord Chitragupta is being ridiculed by the power company which is very objectionable and condemnable. He said that the cartoon should be removed immediately from the website of the power company and strict action should be taken against the officials responsible for this.
This cartoon released by Madhya Kshetra Electricity Distribution Company shows a dialogue between Yamraj and Lord Chitragupta. Chitragupta is shown saying that those who steal electricity will be sent to hell and will be given a current of 440 volts.
