Rousing reception accorded to PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in India to a rousing reception at Palam Technical Airport on Sunday afternoon. A large number of BJP workers have gathered at the venue and BJP President J P Nadda and other leaders received him at the airport.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in India on Sunday afternoon after completing his four days visit to the United States. The Prime Minister was granted a warm welcome at the Palam Technical Airport. Bharatiya Janata Party president JP Nadda, other leaders and party workers received the PM at the national capital.

The Prime Minister greeted the supporters waiting at the airport. Addressing the welcoming ceremony, Bharatiya Janata Party president JP Nadda said the world now looks at India in a new light and that the prime minister has made contributions towards the world's development.

Commenting on Modi's meetings with US President Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris, Nadda said the Prime Minister has put across the global issues strongly and expressed India's stand on terrorism and expansionism. He also touched up the Prime Minister's Quad meeting and his address at UNGA. The Prime Minister has brought laurels to the country and the countrymen, Nadda said.

The prime minister has had old ties and friendship with the US president Joe Biden. Prime Minister has established India as the global player by discussing terrorism and climate change and he has expressed how a solution can be derived with everyone's participation, Nadda stated.

The BJP president also lauded the Prime Minister for bringing back 157 antiquities to India from the US. Prime Minister Modi expressed his thanks to the people who were there to welcome him.
