Raj Kundra porn case: Police register FIR against 4 Hot Shots producers

The police have registered an FIR against four producers, including actor Gehana Vasisth, of the Hot Shots app which allegedly streamed sleaze videos.

Mumbai:In a fresh development in the Raj Kundra pornography case, an FIR has been registered against four producers, including actor Gehana Vasisth of the Hot Shot app, that allegedly streamed sleaze videos, at Malad's Malvani police station. The FIR was registered based on a complaint filed by an actor-model who was forced to take part in a soft porn video against her wish for the app.

The Bombay High Court had on Tuesday said it cannot pass any order granting urgent relief to businessman Raj Kundra, arrested in a case of alleged production and distribution of pornographic films through apps. Kundra was arrested by the police on July 19 along with 11 other people on charges related to the alleged creation of pornographic films. He was booked under IPC sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) besides relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.

Mumbai Police had told the court that they suspected that money earned from pornography was used for online betting. The case was registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February about the creation of pornographic films and the use of apps. A few days ago, the police had informed that four employees of Kundra had turned witnesses against him.
