Rahul Gandhi meets survivors of Kozhikode plane crash

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid a visit to the survivors of the Kozhikode plane crash. He has reached Wayanad district to inaugurate Poothadi Grama Panchayat Kudumpasree Sangamam and Vidhya Vahini bus distribution at Infant Jesus School at Kenichira.

Congress leader has reached Wayanad district to inaugurate Poothadi Grama Panchayat Kudumpasree Sangamam and Vidhya Vahini bus distribution at Infant Jesus School at Kenichira.

Air India Express flight 1344, which on the 'Vande Bharat' Mission — repatriating Indians stranded in UAE during the COVID-19 lockdown, slid off the tabletop runway at Calicut International Airport. Twenty-one people including two pilots had lost lives in the accident.

Earlier on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s 'Vijaya Yatra' from Kasaragod, Kerala in presence of state party president K Surendran.

The BJP has lined up national leaders including former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi, Nirmala Sitharaman, Irani and Gen VK Singh to partake in the 'Vijaya Yatra' rally in various districts.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be present at the concluding session of the rally on March 7 in Thiruvananthapuram.
