Thanking the people for believing in the party, Bhagwat Mann said that the security of about 120 people have been decreased. He also added that "no government office will have CM's photos but will have pictures of Shaheed Bhagat Singh & Babasaheb Ambedkar".

Amritsar: After a landslide victory in Assembly elections, Punjab CM-designate Bhagwant Mann received Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia at the Amritsar airport on Sunday. The three went to a few temples before conducting a mega roadshow.

They went to pay obeisance at Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple and Valmiki Temple. They also went to the nearby Jallianwala Bagh memorial to pay respects before commencing their roadshow. Flocking with tricolours and AAP flags, AAP supporters had gathered in large numbers to take part in the roadshow. Thanking the people for believing in the party, Bhagwat Mann said that the security of about 120 people have been decreased. He also added that "no government office will have CM's photos but will have pictures of Shaheed Bhagat Singh & Babasaheb Ambedkar".

AAP national convener and Delhi CM Aravind Kejriwal said, "I am happy that after many years Punjab has got an honest Chief Minister". He added, that every single penny of "government coffers" will be spent on the people of Punjab and assured that all the pre-poll promises will be honoured.

The swearing-in ceremony of the new government will be held on March 16 at Khatkar Kalan, the native village of legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

In the recently-concluded Punjab elections, the AAP registered a landslide victory, winning 92 seats, pushing the Congress party to distant second at 18 seats. Mann is scheduled to swear-in on March 16 at the native village of freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Khatkar Kalan.
